This is a very easy to knit beanie-style baby hat. Worked in stocking stitch, with a ribbed border.

A perfect gender-neutral design

It is a very versatile pattern. There are so many lovely self-patterning yarns available at the moment, that even a simple hat can look great !……..

Or add a fancy stitch for more interest if you feel like it!……….

Or work it in stripes.………….

Or add a bow, button or flower for decoration………………

Or add a pom-pom.So many options.

Requires:

DK yarn (less than 30g)

4mm needles

Sizes:

small preemie, medium preemie, large preemie, 0 - 3 months, 6 months, 9 - 12 months
